I am Helen Cassidy, an independent celebrant based in Ystrad Mynach, South Wales. I create and lead personal, meaningful ceremonies that reflect the people at their centre — whether that is two people making promises to one another, a family welcoming a new life, or loved ones gathering to honour a life well lived.
Traditional, modern, spiritual or entirely non-religious: your ceremony is written for you, from your story, in your words.

By phone, online or in person — we talk about the occasion, the people involved, and what would make it feel truly yours. No obligation, just a friendly chat.
Writing your ceremony
Together, at your pace, we shape the words, music, readings and moments that tell your story. You see and approve every word before the day.
The day itself
Calm, warm and well held. I lead the ceremony so you can be fully present in the moment, knowing every detail is taken care of.
